Good Morning Pansophia families,
Late last night, school leadership was contacted by the Coldwater Police Department (CPD) and notified of a tip they received about a post on social media, posing a threat to the school. CPD immediately began their investigation and provided updates throughout the night. The source of the social media post has been identified and CPD is continuing their investigation. Out of caution, we feel that it is necessary to close the school today, Wednesday, December 18th while the investigation concludes.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we must take appropriate precautions to provide a safe environment for our staff and students. If you have any additional information that would be helpful to this investigation, please email me at rtomlinson@pansophia.us or call 517-279-4686.

Last week Mrs. Barrand's Middle School Theatre Arts class created skits from The Grinch. Their subject of study for the week was over movie scenes, and how to spin them in their own creative way with minimal theatre arts equipment. The students had a blast using their imaginations!

Puma Families, next week the PTO sponsors our annual holiday store. The store is open Mon pm through Fri morning. PTO offers items for all budgets, with a large selection for our student shoppers. We wiil also have the program YoYos from Ms Morgans project. Santa and his elves will be with us as we offer this in school service. The PTO accepts credit and debit cards. We hope you and your students join us for this fun and convenient project!!!

Join us for Winter Wonderland next Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 5-7pm! This event is open to the public, so feel free to bring your neighbors and friends. There will be games, food, photos with Santa, and a holiday shop. Entry is free. Tickets will be required for games; concessions and the holiday shop are additional purchases.

Tomorrow is Market Day for our Youth Entrepreneurs/ Empowered students! Student-run shops will be open from 8:30-10:30am and 12:30-2:30pm. Students and staff can show support by purchasing some of their treats at school tomorrow. Thank you! Have a great night.
Bus 7 & 44 will run as normal both AM and PM routes. Unfortunately Bus 23 is not running due to mechanical issues. Students on Bus 23 will be picked up in another bus after 8:30am. If you’re able to provide transportation for your student(s) tomorrow, please text bus dispatch or call the office in the morning.
Yesterday, HS girls basketball team played against Camden-Frontier. It was a tough battle and we came short. Top performance on yesterday game Breanna Burton. Tonight MS boys basketball team will face Jackson Patriots and the HS boys basketball team will face North Adams-Jerome.

Let us make your family breakfast tomorrow! $5 per meal from 7:00A.M to 11:00 A.M. All proceeds support the 3rd grade Michigan Tour Fieldtrip.
Ms. Dunn's class has been learning about wants vs. needs, goods vs. services, & producers vs. consumers. Today, they get the opportunity to come up with a business name, and then next week, they will dive deep into being buay little else working in their shops, making these crafts. the week of Decemeber 16, we will talk about taxes, and then each group will be able to "sell" their product. Each day, they will earn money (fake money) by making, creating, and painting their products, and then taxes will have to be paid at the end of the week. And that is then when they get to become little shoppers/ consumers.
6th-9th grade Soccer Award Ceremony today at 5:00 PM in Mr. Burke Classroom.
Parents the PTO is looking for workers for our upcoming Santa Secret Shop, Dec 16 thru Dec 20. This service allows students to shop for family/friends in a safe environment. The PTO uses profits to allow students without resources to be able to participate in an anonymous respectful process. Workers are needed for each day, 5 adults per day is best. we also have Santa and Elves assisting. please contact PTO at pto@pansophia.us or call Diane at 517.918.0188 to volunteer.
