All Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend a college visit to Central Michigan University on Friday, April 24th. We will be taking a Charter Bus and leaving the school at 7:15 A.M. and we will return around 4:45 P.M. This is a special visit for high school students who attend a CMU authorized charter school. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. ALL students and parents who wish to attend must use this link to register with CMU before THIS FRIDAY, April 10th. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible! See Mrs. Gray or Mrs. K with any questions!

Every other Friday Mrs. Gonzalez takes her class to read to the kindergarten students. Both the 5th graders and Kindergartners enjoy this time. On 3/13, they celebrated "Pi Day" (technically 3/14) but we did not have school on 3/14), they changed it up a bit. Mrs. Gonzalez cut out pieces of pie on paper, wrote the sight words they were working on, and Ms. Dunn "hid" them around the two kindergarten rooms and the k-2 hallway. 5th grade students paired up with kindergarten students and looked for these words. The kindergarten students read the words to the 5th graders, and if the kindergarten student did not know the word, the 5th graders helped them. It was so much fun!
"Listening and watching the 5th graders help the little was truly a sight to see," said Mrs. Dunn. "The way they got down to their level and walked them through how to pronounce or sound out the word was AMAZING!!!!"
We love having the opportunity for older students to have leadership opportunities with the younger students in the same building. Wonderful things are happening at Pansophia Academy!

The Spillin' the Tea staff hopes everyone has a safe, relaxing break ... we'll see you when we get back!

DRILL - Pansophia Academy is currently in a hard lockdown DRILL. A hard lockdown is initiated when there is a potential or immediate threat to student or staff safety either inside or near the building. During a hard lockdown DRILL, all students and staff secure themselves in locked classrooms or safe areas, lights are turned off, and no one is permitted to enter or leave the building until an all-clear is given by administration or law enforcement. In a true emergency, we would work closely with local authorities and would provide updates as soon as we were able. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority.

Come check out our latest episode on YouTube! Hosts and varsity basketball team members Max Burger and Deon Danner talk with coaches Mr. Tomlinson and Mr. Gonzalez about the Pumas' Feb. 23 district tournament win - the first in Pansophia's history.
