Tonight our secondary students in band and choir performed their Winter Music Showcase. These students have been working hard! 🎶🎼
3rd-5th grade Elementary Coed Basketball games tonight Jan. 16th have been postponed. They will now be played on Jan. 29th.

A soft lockdown is a precautionary measure taken at a school when there is no immediate danger, but there may be potential risks nearby. During a soft lockdown, students and staff remain indoors and continue their normal activities, but with additional security measures.

Congratulations to students of the month for December! We celebrated on Friday! It was also pajama day!
This week, the admin team paired up upper elementary grades with lower elementary grades in the gym to engineer gingerbread houses while their teachers got a relaxing break. Then, secondary students took a break from exams in the gym for some holiday activities (cookie decorating, gingerbread house building, diamond art, & coloring. Thank you to the BACC Education Professions program for assisting us with the elementary students!
Pansophia Academy had a wonderful visit from NED'S Resiliency Ride teaching our students to "Never Give Up." Thank you to everyone who purchased a yo-yo to support this program!
Ms. Dunn's class was hard at work, being business owners last week!

Tomorrow's Band and Choir Winter Showcase has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 16th at 6:00 P.M. The music department has been hit hard with absences due to sickness, and we feel that rescheduling will increase student attendance at the show. Good Morning Pansophia families,
Late last night, school leadership was contacted by the Coldwater Police Department (CPD) and notified of a tip they received about a post on social media, posing a threat to the school. CPD immediately began their investigation and provided updates throughout the night. The source of the social media post has been identified and CPD is continuing their investigation. Out of caution, we feel that it is necessary to close the school today, Wednesday, December 18th while the investigation concludes.

Last week Mrs. Barrand's Middle School Theatre Arts class created skits from The Grinch. Their subject of study for the week was over movie scenes, and how to spin them in their own creative way with minimal theatre arts equipment. The students had a blast using their imaginations!
