Our 3rd graders traveled to Sauder Village today to walk through a living history museum. While there, students learned about Native American way of life, they explored the homes and farms of settlers, and walked through a city designed to replicate life during the 1920s!

Fur trading building used between Native Americans and early settlers.
Students were able to see a wigwam which they learned about at the beginning of the year.
Students learned how early settlers built homes to survive the winter when they first got to our area.
Students had a ton of fun exploring the different areas of Sauder Village!

A quick break for ice cream was enjoyed!
Students were able to ride a train through the park to learn additional information about how our area was settled, and the impact that railways had on our development!

The Pansophia Academy Dance Team was amazing in their showcase on Sunday.

Members performed a program of 23 solos, duets, trios and group numbers. The event was the final performance for senior team members Fayth Haase and Katherine Guest.

Special honors awarded during the showcase were Lilly Parker, Powerhouse Dancer; Fayth Haase, Spirit of the Squad; Izzy Kiernan, Most Improved; and Kylie Nunemaker, Rookie of the Year. Fayth and Katheine Guest were awarded the traditional green poms given to the team's graduating seniors.

Coach Jamie Barrand announced that Fayth would be coming back as an assistant coach in the 2026-27 season, while Bandit Nunemaker would be a new captain for the season (alongside Lilly, who will be a third-year captain).

Congratulations to the entire team for a great season!
