Pansophia's 2024 Trunk or Treat was as huge success! Many thanks to our PTO and all the staff, students, parents and families who made this year's event so special.

Friday, Ms. Dixon and Mrs. Adams’ classes joined together to work on subtracting. The students were given two numbers, they had to figure out which number was the largest and then subtract the two numbers with their partner.

Mrs. DuLaney's 5th hour class completed their 1st escape room together. 5 groups competed and (though it was a close call) all groups "escaped" in time for lunch on Friday.

Come join us at Pansophia Academy for our Annual Dig Pink volleyball game and to cheer on our Senior Students last home game with a cause. The game starts at 5:30! Jet says, "Dig PINK!"

With the new quarter, English classes are starting new texts and genres! Now in 9th grade English, we are reading Isaac Asimov's "The Life and Times of Multivac," while in 10th grade we've begun looking at Japanese literature, starting with Kazuo Koike's "Lone Wolf and Cub." 11th grade has gone on to look at the Victorian period in British literature, and having read a selection from Charles Dickens' "Hard Times", will next be going through Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's: "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" and later Robert Louis Stevenson's "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." Finally, in 12th grade English, students have begun reading pieces from the Revolutionary period, reading authors like Franklin, Adams, Jefferson, Paine, and Wheatley.
