Steven T Palmer, Bio
I have been a Teacher, Coach, Director, Founder and CEO of a number of schools. I am honored to presently be the Director of Pansophia Academy a K-12 school. As a skillful educator, fundraiser, knowledge of school finances and my love of engaging with children, it has been a blessing to watch this program grow into what it is today. The philosophy I live by is that all children are a gift and we, as educators need to teach to their strengths and remediate their weaknesses. I also believe in helping children experience a positive and realistic perception of themselves and a strong commitment to community. I think “abilities not disabilities.” Education is all about children. In all methods of education, the nucleus is to begin with a brain based approach to learning. As a National Presenter, my key presentations are based upon brain-based learning.
It is my belief of education that every person, regardless of age, can “learn to learn.” Therefore, it is imperative that all educators treat each student as a multi-dimensional individual and instill the love for learning that comes from children actively discovering, making and self empowering them. This is the best way to help develop and unlock their abilities to the greatest degree possible.
